Welcome to Build It My Way.comFurniture plans along with instructional videos (DVDs). The paper furniture plans provide numbers and drawings similar to what you would expect to find in traditional furniture plans but here there is an added bonus. I have produced an extra to these furniture plans in the form of a video which starts with the first cut and ends with the project complete. The furniture plans on these web pages represent projects of my own design and construction. I've been building custom made furniture for years, sometimes following the furniture plans brought to me by the customer but more often than not I've had to draw up my own furniture plans. To date I've produced three sets of furniture plans and one set of plans for a mortising jig. The furniture plans on this web site are aimed at all woodworkers, from those beginners who are looking for new and useful techniques and to those with more experience who are looking for ideas. You might not like the furniture plans I am offering, but you may be able to match my methods with your ideas. Your Cdn $29.95 + mailing buys you a set of paper furniture plans along with a DVD in which I follow the furniture plans from beginning to end. Purchase two sets of furniture plans and you will receive the second one for $5.00 Cdn off. You also get free consultation; that is if you have any questions about the project, the furniture plans, or the video, I am only an e-mail away. Disclaimer: Woodworking is inherently dangerous and in the videos you will often see me performing tasks which can lead to injury. I recommend that you take all necessary precautions and follow all safety procedures outlined by the manufacturer of your particular tools. In particular I do not use a blade guard on my table saw. I am comfortable with this but do not recommend that you remove the guard from your saw. |
